Teeth in a day is a temporary solution for your waiting time
for the second visit. This temporary Denture bridge is a
solution that the specialist will fix in your mouth right
after the surgery. This denture allows you to have more
activities than the regular temporary denture.

This denture is different from the standard Denture you get
when All on 4 is done. This one is a PMMA Bridge with

How is the Dental Implant Process in Mexico?

At XDentistry Tijuana, the implant treatment divides itself into 2 stages; we recommend a 10 day stay for each stage,
with an intermediate period of four to six months between them.

1st Trip: Surgical Phase

1. Evaluation and treatment explanation

A 3D scan along with a check-up will be required for a thorough evaluation of your dental health after which our specialist will let you know what treatment fits properly for your specific case.

2. Surgery

After going through a full explanation, our specialists begin with your treatment. Depending on the decision to proceed with, our specialist will apply several techniques and equipment.

3. Post-surgery

Once the procedure is done, your specialist will determine and explain to you the healing period of time, also known as osseointegration.
You will receive instructions for rest and diet and schedule your next appointment to return after four to six months to complete your treatment.

2nd Trip: Restorative Phase (4 to 6 Months Later)

4. Healing Evaluation

On your second appointment, our specialists will check up that you have healed properly; this is always a certainty as long as you have followed the specialist’s instructions. If required the doctor will ask you to return the next day to complete the treatment but sometimes it can be done on this same appointment.

5. Mouth Restoration

At this point, the specialist will proceed to place the Dentures of Your Choice as your specific case.

6. Rest, Test And Enjoy Your Smile!

After placing your new smile on, and if required, a few adjustments will be made for you to get to a comfortable point for smiling, chewing and talking. When everything is good to go our specialist will talk about what you can expect and the regular care needed.

All on 4, All on 6, All on 8.
What is The Difference?

Depending on every specific case the implants required can
be 4, 6 or 8; whether you need an All on 6 or an All on 8
rather than an All on 4 depends entirely on your jawbone
structure and/or the amount of damage your current
dental health has suffered. For this reason, the initial check-
up is vital and will be our guide for your treatment, as you
may imagine, the number of dental implants directly
reflects on the final price.

Do not panic, it will still be a reduced and much more
affordable price than back home!

more affordable prices. Located about half a mile from the

specialized in medical tourism

This modern tower has also a shopping center and a luxury

dental implants in Tijuana!

3 Bridges on 6

Would be the to-go option if you have sufficient healthy
bone to support this type of restoration. The procedure
uses six implants to firmly secure three bridges and form
an arch, replacing completely the upper and/or lower arch
of your teeth.

A great advantage is that it can be used to replace a partial
area of your mouth without having to remove healthy
teeth. Another big difference that may be important to
consider if you have a good portion of healthy bone is that
the arch formed with this technique can actually help to
preserve that healthy bone and does not occupy as much
space as the all on four.

Which All on X Treatment is
The Best Option for me?

Snap on Dentures

This option is the best one to consider as a replacement of
your teeth if you are dealing with an injury or a condition
that may result in poor dental health. Conventional
dentures have the con of slipping out of place or having
poor stability but that won’t happen with a snap-in denture
at XDentistry.

Amongst the benefits of this option you’ll experience more
stability, improvement when chewing and comfort due to a
lesser friction in your gums. Another important factor to
consider besides dental health is that your jawbone will be
preserved better from bone loss or degradation. New
smile, new life!

Pre Surgery

Surgery Phase Is the Most Important Phase. This set of Instructions are Made to Answer Those Common Questions That Come Out, To solve any Doubt, and Advice All Our Patients The Instructions They Need to Go Through Before Coming to X Dentistry. Things to Avoid Doing before Surgery.

Three weeks before your surgery, stop smoking and drinking alcohol. Ask your doctor if you should suspend any medication and let us know what medicines you are taking. Anti-inflammatories, anti-coagulants, and vitamin E supplements can cause excessive bleeding during surgery, so you must discontinue them two weeks before surgery.

Get Rest and Appropriate Nutrition

Try to maintain a healthy food plan starting today and especially three weeks before your surgery. Get protein supplements like Ensure or Boost as well as broths, soups, gelatin, yogurt, eggs, fish, mashed potatoes, cream of oatmeal, cottage cheese, ice cream, juices, and well-cooked pasta.

Prepare Your medications.

Two weeks before surgery, eat plenty of fresh pineapple or pineapple enzyme and a multivitamin tablet (even if it contains vitamin E.) Take vitamin A (up to 10,000 units) and vitamin C (up to 1000 mg). One week before surgery take pineapple enzyme twice a day. Fresh pineapple is a good alternative.

Post Surgery

After Surgery Healing Phase Depends on You.
Here Are Some Instructions And Recommendations For Your Self Care.
From Oral Hygiene to a Diet Recommendation.

Things to Avoid Doing After Surgery

Clean your mouth thoroughly after each meal beginning the day after surgery. Use a soft bristle toothbrush and toothpaste. The use of a dental Waterpik is highly recommended to irrigate underneath the denture to flush out debris. During the first 48 hours after your surgery, you must rest, relax and avoid any physical activity. It is normal for your jaw muscles to feel tense for a few days, you should not force them to open your mouth nor blow your nose.

Diet Recommendation

For the six weeks following the surgery, a soft diet is recommended (we suggest starting with liquids.) Avoid hot meals or liquids and get protein supplements like Ensure or Boost, as well as broths, soups, gelatin, yogurt, eggs, fish, mashed potatoes, cream of oatmeal, cottage cheese, ice cream, juices, and well-cooked pasta. If you cannot cut easily any food, please avoid eating it.

Prepare your medications

After a dental implant surgery, there is normally pink or blood-tinged saliva for two or three days and it does not indicate any problem, even minimal bleeding is expected. The best way to stop it is by placing a damp piece of gauze and softly bite for 30 minutes while resting and keeping your head elevated. You can minimize swelling by applying immediate ice packs on the outside area of the face for periods of 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off. For pain, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory is recommended (if you are not allergic). The specialist will give you recommendations and prescriptions that you must follow strictly.
